Since I recommend and discuss the benefits of herbs and tea here on my blog, I wanted to share some of my favorites. By far, I love Chai. Which here in the US is not all tea but specified to green or black tea with my some of my favorite herbs mixed in: ginger, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, and star anise. Chai Tea Origins. It is always my go to when I am feeling a tickle or soreness in my throat. It soothes and warms all over, and the smell is heavenly.
My children like it too, probably because I drank it when I was pregnant quite a bit, and so I buy the liquid version for chai tea lattes at home.
I try to always have at least one cup of green tea a day because of it’s high concentration of antioxidants. These are beneficial in preventing infection, heart disease, improving the skin, and detoxification. Again my favorites are green chai or any green tea with mint or lemongrass/lemon balm added.
Since I am on a budget I try to get these teas on sale, but am always sure to get Organic. Tea can be toxic if not organic, especially the green/black/white tea leaves. Here is a good website for preferred tea brands based on quality: Researched Tea Brands.
My days always end with a cup of tea too; herbal of course. Ginger with a touch of added spice or any combination of mint, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Lemongrass, & Skullcap. These are all types of wonderful herbs for inducing sleepiness and good digestion, as bed time nears🌃🍵🛌☯️.
I hope your night is relaxing, calm, and filled with warm tea and wonderful words……💕~Anne
